I has a message in response to your first post but didn't get time to post it. I too had trouble with the Christmas theme. Sleigh bells and jingly jangles don't really go hand in hand with hip hop and I like my beat to still be more hip hop than anything. I pretty much throw an acapella over all my beats to make sure they vibe...

That being said....

I came up with an idea and started it but couldn't get it right. I was then unwell for a few days and only had a couple of hours before submission.

The thing is I really liked my initial idea and didn't want to submit it half baked. So I'll go back to it without the time constraints and hopefully do it justice. Hopefully do this while it's still Christmassy! It very much fits this vibe @Fade and with Elf being one of my favourite films I'd like to do it justice!

Congrats @K-waz. I forgot to enter because I had a really busy day at work and came back home too tired to submit but I immediately knew that was your beat when I played it because I listened to the 2023 Christmas Beat Tape Compilation on Band camp. And yes, I'm on there too.
