Definitely, man.
Not even just balancing but matching or creating the emotion, making them feel cohesive and made for eachother.
I also feel that voting can be wonky on these ones tho - sometimes people just get excited because someone used a DMX vocal (for example).
But yeah. It can definitely highlight significant skill levels.
One of the hardest things for me is finding decent acapellas that I'd want to use.
