    Ive got an mpc with 8 outs and want to know whether i can get those outs to my pc into cubase an be able to eq them while its playing if you get me. The only thing i can think of is a firewire sound card but would i ba able to eq the sounds in cubase without mixing it down? Peace

    If anybody has an emu 0404 can u help me out please. I set it up once i got it and i could play thins on my pc but once i got the cable i needed to connect my turntables to it and set the inputs up i couldnt play anything so i have input but no output, im not sure how to set it up its that...

    I jus ordered a emu 0404 but it sez its got unbalanced analogue inputs, what does this mean? i sample so i need the inputs, will it make any difference if they are unbalanced or balanced, im using the one that came with my dell pc so i decided to upgrade but dont really know too much about them...

    I went to one once to get some tuition, the guy there was real nice and taught me alot of stuff about equing compression and how you get paid etc. It was really informative, if you get a chance to do it or are thinkin about it definately do it because it is well worth it. Peace

    MPC 60 and PC I use reason 3.0 to make beats in and one of my boys is sellin a mpc 60, and i was thinkin i may be able to incorperate it into my setup, Is that possible? or if i got it would i jus use it on its own?

    This is a very old question. If u want to try and eq them out u will also eq some of the other instruments aswell which will take away the essence of the sample so there is really no way of doing it without taking away from the sample aswell. Peace

    I usually jus eq my drums to give em more life but i hardly every compress them until i am mastering. If u are havin troubles layin down drums jus start of with simple patterns like: kick-hat-snare-hat-hat-kick-snare-hat then add bits to it to liven it up like...
