    syncing mpc to pro tools

it might be hard if you dont have many inputs on your computer. assuming that because you have pro tools free you arent running pro tools hardware. but if you run stereo out of your mpc then it would probably work. as for midi i dont use it much. from mpc i would record each loop from each pad...

    Destroy All Fruity Loops Software....NOW!

ya fruity loops is dope. It makes it soo easy to do up quick loops and i have more creative mistakes that sound good on that program. but once i do the final mix i will have taken each drum sound and polished it and placed it into pro-tools, but still using my fruity loops track as a template.

    Trinity

I know whatcha mean about sampling. These days I always play out my own peices on a keyboard and treat the peices as samples and loop and chop as needed. if I want that live feel Ill play out the piece for the whole song. or just for a bridge or intro or outro. if you have all that training...

    Any synth users?

I use a yamaha W7. its the shit. MPC's are dope but to get that real music feel you need to either have some dope creative samples or use a synth. now thats only my opinion but I think people always will apreciate some live keys even if they dont know what exactly their listing too

I use fruity loops for pretty much every drum loop, in every beat I make. definately use your own samples. I used it to start me out in beat making too. its sooo easy and quick to use. then Ill export the loops and import'em to Protools where Ill lay the rest of the sounds with my synths. If...
