    ^^^^^^ I agree with a lot of what your saying and it's obvious that you speak from experience. For beginners a decent PC, a good soundcard and FLStudio or Reason can go a long way in my personal opinion. Props to you though for dropping some very good knowledge.

    a couple of things you can do is; 1) add FX 2) add layers/layer sounds 3) tweek sounds you already have 4) create your sounds using sythns and stuff. I think "Absynth" and "Reaktor" are examples of this.

    great idea! I'd like to know what "Fade's top 5 or 10 albums are" also as a REQUEST for a future tutorial couls someone do "how to chop samples like DJ Premier" or something silimar. I'd really liek to see some interpretations about how he does his thang. holla! :D

    yeah no doubt. I think it's important for them to see and know what happened and stuff nah mean? My 9 year old cuz is mad intelligent and mature but yeah it still may be too for her.
