    ok thanks i got to play with the 2000 xl with the card reader but not the 4000. one of the big things that appeals to me with the 4000 is the hard drive and how you can put so much ram in it. that and being able to program your pads and trasfer samples by usb with asks software.

    Maybe try some really old gospel stuff. My dad has a whole bunch of old gospel tapes and cd's and you can get alot of individual drum hits and sounds. i've made some evil sinister stuff out of a happy sounding gospel song so i'm sure you could find something.
