how can i get my pc and mpc to talk??
i didn't have this problem when juxin my setup so i suggest getting a more universal cable like a 1/4 inch converted to something compatible with your soundcard. Which brings me to.. what soundcard do you have? -

so the labtop was playing the colossus intruments and the mpc was playing the drums/samples? if this is so.. then this is natural while using a vst as a sound module in your setup via computer. what you need is a recording device besides your one sound card. i use two soundcards on my... -
