I'm running FL Studio 6 and Adobe Audition and I'm having some trouble matching the keys of the multiple samples I use (kinda like Shadow tracks). Does anybody know any tricks that would help me do it more efficiently?

I want to buy a midi controller and spend about $100-$200 (maybe more).
It will be used with FL Studio mainly for drums, basslines and some melodies.
Does anybody have any suggestions?
I think that sampling is fine because you are basically just getting the sounds and reusing them in a different way (that is if you chop). It is almost the same thing as a keyboard with sampled sounds.
Also sampling gives beats a vibe or feeling that can't be created again.
