    I'm starting to think that I might be having more of a sound selection issue when it comes to the bass. I made sure that the scale was locked and even tried to eq room for the bass on this one.

    Thanks for the explanation. I've been using the scale highlight feature in FL to try to make sure I stay on key which is why this threw me off some because the base notes fall on the scale but moving up octaves like you suggested highlighted how terrible they sounded.

    I really enjoyed this track. Had me nodding my head and I gave it a couple listens just to vibing with it. I don't have much knowledge in technical aspects of beat making but to my ear everything sounded clean and like it meshed well.
