    no doubt. i pretty much figured out how to use cubase sx 3 watching his tutorials. he uses and older version of cubase vst but the setup is basically the same. watch a few of those then play with sx3 and u should be on ur way.

    Help with Reason.

    hit the tab key and make sure the 2nd machine is connected to the mixer. there are virtual wires in the back of everything, which is great for running certain sounds through mutiple effects, etc.

    i use cubase myself just because i can move pretty quickly in it. u do need to add plugins to it for to really be effective but once u do its dope.

    oh no doubt spanishharlem, thats the reason i come back here. too many other forums are quick to put people down for asking simple questions. @agentsmith: i started producing about 6 or 7 years ago but started taking it seriously in the last 3. i'm also a dj (hip hop & drum n bass).
