2 questions for ya'll

1- how do i hook up an oxygen keyboard to Reason?
2- how do i set up my mpc through midi to pro tools?(i hate midi!)

You have to use some sort of interface to hook up your gear to your computer. An external soundcard so to speak. I have the motu 828. But Edirol makes stuff that sells really cheap. Than just hook to up via firewire or usb and change the settings

Use the USB cable to connect to your PC, from the Oxygen. Open reason, go to the preferences under edit, and select MIDI from the drop down box. Use the drop down box to select your keyboard, and select the channel you will be recording to the sequencer. If you see a green check next to your keyboard name after its been selected its working. Then you can go to the advavced MIDI section. Choose your MIDI BUS options and the Remote control options, so you can use the sliders and knobs on your keyboard, if you hav them.
