I don't know which to get, an interface or mixer

Go with the interface. You will need a way to record your material. You can always add the mixer later. No since in having a nice ass mixer and a fucked up interface UNLESS you get one of those firewire mixers that act as audio interface/mixer I believe.(never really used them to go fully into details about them).

on the same thot i need help i just bought uca2000 from behringer to connect with my casio 571 (midi) but when i go to fl studio it can only detect my virtual midi controller.
how can i make this thing get detected in fl coz i tried with generic and shit is still tha same.

please help?
