once again im pissed off... what good is the digi/analog version if i cant sample... i need the knobs, but if it cant sample, whats the use? the other one is just an MPC from the inventor himself... sigh... RS fo' life itches... im still holdin out hope... the digi/analog one needs to be able to sample, and the knobs must be able to twist up EVERYTHING for me.

you gotta look at it differently, this is not an mpc, this is a drumcomputer pur sang or with an analogue 4 voice added (probably the curtis chip from the prophet08).

It doesnt sample, but did you notice flash ram in the spec, you expand memory by a CF card..1Gb library, turn on the machine and your library is there, it remains in memory even after you turn off the machine and the size of it isnt limited by machine state but by the size of the cf card.

analog version is hot

I wouldn't be too quick to jump on the sampling version, however the analog version looks dope as hello, you could be tapping out a beat with one hand and twisting knobs with the other.
My only reality check is you can do the same thing wtih an MPD24 and a laptop.
For hardware though, it is hot.
