Can you Run Pro Tools 7.1 with an Mbox

i recntly got a new intel Mac Pro and have bene told i need version 7.1 or higher of pro tools. I have an Mbox(1) and was wondering can i buy jus the software of Pro tools 7.1 and run it with an Mbox(1)
