who here regularly spends all day (or most of the day) in their crib (or recording studio) making beats?

or am i the only one with too much time on my hands?

wake up in da mournin think of a beat...go to school and rip some punk ass M.C. in a battle (everyone wants a piece of the best)...go to class and read my new korg triton manual while rappin or thinkin of a beat...get home at 3:00 go to my room and work on some beats...come out around 9:30 get a quick snack or get on da coputa for a sec...then go rite back to my room and finish up some beats...take a shower and go to sleep and dream about music in some form. wake up and do it all over again.

minus the school the school shit (which gives me more time) Malice just described my whole day, except i dont really sleep, ive managed to master the art of insomnia (u get more done), but when i do sleep i wake up in the morning and reach right over (without getting up) and turn the computer on, and sometimes the radio (to see if anything has changed...it never does).thisis an all day thing for me.....i occassionally take a break to smash a shorty but then they stopped fuckin wit me cuz id be done after the first nut and go back to the computer, thats life.

ditto to evryone...i been workin down in nyc and i don't got my producin gear wiit me so ive been roughin it....... i nevr realized the amount of time i spent makin beats till ive been without my equipment....damn, theres a whole world out there...lol

i feel u messenger, i often take one day out the week to just not do shit but i always end up goin to see a chick and end up on the train at like 1:00 in the morning and when i get home i end up on the computer so that plans a failure, i think i get that self sleep deprivation shit from my pops, that dudes eyes open everyday at 5:30 no hesitation, he can lay his head down at 5:25 and them eyes will pop right open and hell be ready to go like he had 8 hours...i find that i get more done at night too becaus theres nobdoy up to harrass me, or call me.i can just work.

im the same man....like on saturdays and/or sundays i just go out and do shit with friends and get home late. i fucking hate insomnia.....i cant stand not being fully awake when im awake...ya know? like id prefer to spend fewer hours on making beats and have all those hours be solid work, than spend lots of hours without full alertness and attention. doctors cant rid me of it.....its all in the head for me, i just cant calm my mind when i want. i probably wont be able to sleep until i know exactly which path im taking and where im going. im only just starting to get into it and i concider myself ignorant when it comes to making music on a whole.
