Compression In Adobe/Cool EDit

Is there any straight foward effect to open a compressor setting in cool edit cuz i cant seem to find one, i think maybe it is under another name/process like gating to gate in cool edit you have to go through dynamics procesing etc...


any help appreciated thanks

I'm not in front of my studio comp... but if I remember correctly, it's Dynamics Processing... you're correct. and then there are presets that you can use to guide you and then tweak..
