copyright samples

jus wondering if you can be sued for using copyrighted samples on the tracks that you post on your website like myspace, etc... I don't think its likely but I wanna find out for sure.

it is illegal, however, to try and sell the track.

damn, these days with the riaa getting on everyones ass and myspace getting more popular i wouldn't be surprised if it happened. i woulndn't worry until it does tho

If you can chop shit up enough and layer it correctly, no one will even know where it came from. Unless you just sample full bars and put a kick and snare over it, then you got a problem.
