Hi All
I'm a former professional musician (piano/keys mainly), played everything from live hip-hop (was in a band called "The Press Project", you can find us on iTunes/Spotify) to salsa, r&b, reggae, jazz etc. I stopped performing 5-6 years ago to focus on a "day job".
I've had some limited production experience throughout the years, and bought Reason 7 about a year ago, with the goal of making beats and hip-hop music.
I still have a TON to learn, but am hoping to get good enough at the beatmaking/production part to maybe do it professionally on the side. We'll see where things go. I've only started learning how to sample in the last 6-8 months.
If anyone needs help with music theory, keyboard technique, or any of that kind of thing feel free to give me a shout! I'm sure I'll be asking many questions about production stuff.
