Death of the hip-hop 12"

I still buy a lot of records, but a trend I've noticed is that they rarely release hip-hop 12" anymore. Most artists put out LP's these days, and that's it, with the 'singles' being released on youtube. I miss the days where you could pick up 2-3 12" from one record, that was dope. You get remixes, alternate cuts, etc... I guess it's more of a money thing these days, probably not much reward for 12" anymore... Ah well.

Ya I miss them a lot too. I had tons of them and I would love it when there was a remix as well as an acapella. It's too bad they don't do it anymore.
