EPMD was my favorite group at one time. They were one of the hottest groups out. Some crazy ish went down between these two cats and the group broke up very early in their career. Eventhough they made amends, they never really got back to superstar status BUT they introduced a ton of what would be superstars during the breakup...Redman, Das EFX, K-Solo and so on. Can't forget DJ Scratch, he was a beast on the wheels...
As for this song, I'm glad to see that they are still doing their thing but I'm not crazy about the sample they used.... (The Breaks). I think this song would have had a much bigger impact if they used some signature EPMD ish on it. It's still good to see them back though, you know that if they release an album, it's gonna be dope!

Yeah I agree about the sample choice, I was thinking twice about posting because of that alone, then I heard Parish's verse and I thought fuck that, man is still killing it on the mic. I like the subject matter too, so I just went and posted it anyway.
