Favourite Guitar Solos?

Well, this is maybe a little off the hip-hop topic but there are some good old fashioned rock people in here so what is each of you favourite guitar solos and why? I'd have to say for me its the first solo from All Over the World by the Pixies. It just kicks in like a bitch in a pretty plodding song and is like a big blast of noise played hell fast. It's not the actual notes so much as the change in dynamics and the sound coming out, must be through one hell of an amp setup. So what d'yall think?

right well there are three in lynard skynards freebird, Stairway to heaven - Jimmy Page (led zep), Hotel California - Joe Walsh (eagles), Hocus Pocus - Jan Akerman, Child of Time - Richie Blackmore (deep purple), some Van Halen will think of some more and post again....
