Interesting read about the president of Dipset getting out of jail:

The thing that trips me out is that when they were putting out records on Epic, they ended up 1.4 million dollars in debt to the label.

That means all those private jets, limousine, cristal, models, all that is paid for by the label, then they bill the artist. If you haven't sold enough records, guess what, you're in the hole.

I don't think many wannabe artists understand this...

I was listening to Wyclef song last night where he was talking about this. A&R's using the label credit card for luxery items then the artist has to pay for it. Shit is fucked up.

To many artists sell there life's away to these labels, anyone herd about Puffy giving chains and cars to rappers in exchange for there publishing? Dumb rappers.

Hadnt heard about Puffy doin that but it doesnt surprise me.I aint a Puffy fan and wouldnt sign anything relating to him, in fact I better stop there b4 I get on my Puffy box.
But you guys are right cats dont realise that aint nothin free.Your payin for all of it, one way or another.
