I've been reading posts here for a little while now, and thought it was about time I gave props to the illest forum there be - ILLMUZIK!

I live in Australia and have been making beats for a few years, but not really hiphop (until now). I use Sonar 4 Producer for sequencing and mostly hardware samplers and synths for sounds... here's my gear (thankyou eBay):

Hey Fade, thanks for the welcome... yeah, I seem to remember seeing a few people from Australia - but no one that I know personally. And thanks for the comment about the gear, but like I said... eBay and pawn shops have a way of making things more accessible, as long as you don't mind stuff not being brand new of course. Anyway... don't you need an MPC to get respect in hiphop?

Thanks StressWon - I'll keep an eye open for Equality and Nug. How does Australian Hiphop compare to stuff from the US? Any fans of Aussie Hiphop?

im from australia too and man.. the aussie hip hop is awesome.. im a huge, huuuuge fan. i listen to it as much, if not more then US hip-hop. u should try and get hold of some hilltop hoods, bliss n eso (ask N.U.G bout them), drapht, downsyde, lyrical commission (did a track with celph titled), TZU, Hermitude (2 dope producers) theres a heap more, but they'd do u find to start with
