Whatsup all!
I'm a producer outta Halifax, Nova Scotia Canada. I've been making tha beats since 93. Started out with Trackers and now I use Cubase and Reason. I hook up my beats and rhymes with a few guys locally (Mr Hu, DJ Beef, Johnny Quest!) and have never done anything commercial but I'm considering it lately. I've been checking out this site for about 6 months and finally got my azz in gear to start posting. I'll start posting in the showcase as soon as I get some time, I'd love to get some constructive feedback as I have been working semi-isolated for most of my production life.

Maybe you'll see some more Nova Scotians on this site cuz I've been trying to put the word out to my crew about it. Then they might tell two friends and they might tell two friends and so on and so on...

I am probably not the best person to say what the hip-hop community is like here cuz I only just started getting into it recently. We have a few figureheads that are making names it and a bunch of cats are grinding but this doesn't seem to be the place to make it...yet. There is a lot of talent and fresh vibes so I'm sure in the near future people will recognize Halifax for hip-hop. No doubt you've heard of a few Halifax artists, its only a matter of time
