Happy new year yall!!! iight now ppl don't laugh but my pops got a new computer and i got the old one its gateway 2000 wit a pentium 2, its a straight comp. but im going to delete everything on the system, does anyone know how to reformat a hard drive, some suggestions would be nice im not a big computer guru so....and would it even be worth recording a computer that old????

well the best and safest way to reformat is to use the restoration disks that came with the pc. so ask your dad for those. You say you don't want to delete everything, but reformating does delete everything. anyways a 2000 pc isn't horrible and it'd be worth it, if you just want it to surf the web and use word.
