Having problems with recording in FL

I have FL Studio 5 producers edition that I use to record my vocals. When you record vocals you have to go to the mixer and set the "in" and "out". The only option that works is "line-in 2/Mic 2 L - lin-in2 Mic 2 R" for the input

When I choose that option I get a delay along with a mild overlayering of everything that i say. Although when i record it and listen to it, it sounds normal. I have always had this problem but I have to get my vocals up to par. Any advice?

get a good soundcard that supports asio, else you keep having this problem.

no i have asio. it was an either a latency or interpolation issue, i had to route the mic channel into an fx channel and then basically mute the fx channel to fix. the fl forums are ill
