What's up ya'll.

I got interested in production a few years ago in a class at college called computers and music. Now, I am a high school teacher in the mississippi delta, who just started a hip hop club at my high school. I am trying get some gear for the producers in my club as well as learn the trade/craft/art myself. So any advice on set ups would be great to start. We have a computer (pc) and my 1200's + mixer. Check out my post in the lab forum if you have advice on the set up.

Welcome to IllMuzik. Good to see you started a club, that sounds interesting, especially since it's in a high school. I wish that kind of stuff was around when I was in school! If all you have right now is a PC and turntables, that's dope. Anyone will tell you that nowadays, that's basically all you need. I know you want to get some gear though, but it all depends on what your goal is.
