How can I make my sample where you can't notice that it has a big gap at the very ending to the beggining(where it loops in the pattern but not the song)

I'm not sure I understand your question but I think you need to cut your sample to get rid of the gap.

The dragged sample on the very top.I minimized the chopping to minimize the choppyness of the sample. Its just when the sample loops within the pattern it has this gap when it ends and when it begins to play again.

And is there a way I can change the tempo because the normal tempo just doesnt sound right for a hip-hop beat...

im not a user in fl or a fan!! but yo if u really need to get in there \
i would zoom in or magnify it so u can have a closer look
that should help!! alot of times u cant see the detail n it causes a gap in the sample!!
another way too is to highlight then quantize it to the pattern and it will get it all the way on but it doesnt work all the time just zoom in so u can see the details!!

You may have to chop again. BTW, what skin is that you are using? It's tight.

yeah, you have to chop your sample so it sounds right, if there's a gap get rid of it. It's not very interesting to just loop a sample anyway.

The tempo can be whatever you want just move your pointer over the tempo window press and hold your left mouse button and move your mouse up or down to get the tempo you want.

Just listen to my beat " Strut your Swagger " on the latest beats, that sample I used is reversed and the tempo is
changed. And one more thing try using Fruity Slicer or Wave traveller to play your samples. I'm more fond of the Wave travaller because i can assign different parts of the sampled song to any key quicker though it's not really good with accuracy. But that's how i like my samples slightly glitchy and raw.

of course you're right; but if you look at his screen shot his tempo is set at 140 which is the default tempo for FL. I think the dude just didn't know how to change the tempo for the song. But chopping up the sample and playing it to any tempo is the way to go for sure.
