I need help with my set up Fam! Everything was working until I hooked my new REsolv50a's. Here's a breakdown of my set up....PC(Reason 3.0,Nuendo3 and audiophile sound card), six chanel mixing console, MPC 2000 and Keystation 49e. Let me get to the problem.... I was previously runnin' all my sound out my pc into stereo speakers. Everything was fine, right? I used my six channel board for my mic input and to also get sound from the MPC into my pc. Cool! Now that I've hooked up my monitors I'm gettin' mad feedback. The control room output on the board is runnin' to the monitors. The output from the pc is runnin' thru input 5/6 on the board, the mpc is flowin' thru 3/4 and the mic is plugged into line 2. I then hooked up the main mix output to the in lines on the pc. Here's where the noise starts. I know that it iis something simple but I've gotten frustrated and can't think now. That is why I'm turnin' to my Illmuzik fam. Help me, PLEASE!

Hey bro,
The feedback is becuase you have the sound of hte computer going into the mixer, then back into the computer = feedback loop
You should have an alt 3/4 on your mixer, use that to send the signal from the mixer into the computer. anytime you want to record, just press alt 3/4, and it will route that channel to the soundcard. Just don't press alt 3/4 on the channel that has your computer or else guess what - feedback...
Not that big a deal, if you want to work and don't want to fuck aroudn wtih it, just plug the mixer into the computer, and the comptuer directly into your amp, amp into monitor (unless they're self powered, then f the amp) then you're back in business that way too...
EZ

One more thing, next time, post your gear problems only in this thread "troubleshooting"...
