yea you're right the yanks would be assed out and this year is not workin' out as planned. i think people forget that before 96 the yankees were really bad, they're not gon'na win it every year. they have to lose at one point or another, especially when other teams keep gettin' better (ie. white sox, orioles, etc).

1986 - Red Sox were one out away from winning the series in 86 and Billy Buckner drops it.
1987-03 again with more failure
And although you beat our asses in 04 (which is the past I see you're living in), we drove a stake through your heart in 03 when Boone crushed it into the upper deck. Boston was the better team last year, they won. But don't be trying to rewrite Boston as the greatest team of all time when they're a simple bunch of no class bums.
We still got our 26 rings, we ain't goin nowhere.
