How do I mess wit the Avatar size

I can finally get an avatar so i got one i like..but the pixels is 100x100 and i want it 80x80 and i dont knoe how to do that ..how do i do it?

ms paint will resize it but i don't think that it resizes it. so you would lose 20x20 of the far right and bottom
