I'm just about ready to start a web site but there are so many prices out there. Some depend on the size of storage you want. Can anybody tell me whats enough space to run it properly. I heard if you get some of the lower end sites it can get locked up sometime by the amount traffic. Just hit me back and let me know whats up.

Coupla things you need to take into consideration is the bandwidth and the storage space. Bandwidth is how much people will be able to download from your site in 1 month, storage space is how much actual stuff you'll be able to fit onto a site. It really depends, just for starting out I doubt you'll need much of a bandwidth allowance cause it takes time for people to know where your site is and tell people about it so you have a lot of visitors. As for space it depends on what you want the site for, a ground up coded simple site shouldn't take more than 10meg but if you want a load of mp3s, large pictures, forums stuff like that you will need a fairly hefty chunk
