i need this bad

wasup everybody, ive never used a midi controller before and i just rented an Oxygen8 couple days ago to use with reason m-adapted 2.5. ive installed the drivers and everythings pluged in.. and the instrument even has the little midi icon beside it....but i dont get any sound at all....im goin crazy cuz this controller is due back soon. does anybody no wats goin on?

How is Reason setup? I mean, what's the MIDI settings for Reason? What about your Windows mixer? Is the MIDI synth output volume up?

How are the MIDI connectors plugged into your controller? Remember:

MIDI In cable --> plug into MIDI Out of controller
MIDI Out cable --> plug into MIDI In of controller
