I don't know how these ones are but I know years ago some of them don't spin back like a turntable. If you can get to a store to touch it first, I would do that.

Me too. I’ve been wanting to incorporate more scratches in my beats. There’s not enough producers cutting on their beats, wouldn’t you agree? The DJ is king imo.

I'mma still try to cop a couple of older Gemini direct drive decks. Prices done went up significantly in the last two years. XL500mkII's could be found on Ebay for $80, now I've seen 'em for over $200 in full working order.

I do have a lil Numark dj thingy tho. I don't know that I'll get used to DJ'ing with a laptop and controller.

Yeah Phase is interesting. It's been a couple of years now but I still think it looks weird to DJ with that and the tonearm's not being used. So when they came out with the Rane Twelve, that took looks cool but odd that there's no tonearm!

I remember seeing tests with the Phase where they were scratching by just moving the record in the air lol.
