"In-house producers" ???

can someone tell me what they think is meant by an 'in-house producer'?

i thinks its a beat maker who a label signs to make tracks for only the emcees/singers on that label. how do they get paid? do they get a percentage of the records sold?

just blaze is in house for the roc ! sum1 like dre producers in house for shady/aftermath/g-unit ! so basically a producer who works almost exclusively for a label he has a contract probably and will b asked to give so many beats for certain projects !
