Intro/Help

I've got the beats in my head. Where do I start when getting them out? Working with Akai MPK, MacBook Pro, and either GarageBand or Logic X (or something else). NEWBIE here I have no idea where to start. Moody production. Kanye West type. Bon Over. Can someone give me some guidance?

You can start with this article. It will help get you started. A lot of it is trial and error. It's hard to walk you through each step online though, so it's best to just start playing around with your equipment.
