I've been checking out second hand ads out alot, and I've seen that the MS2000 and Trinity rack/keyboard both pop up alot for pretty cheap prices.

My original plan was to get a Radium as a controller and get some soft synths, but I really liked the sounds coming out of the microKorg. Isn't the same tone generator from the MS2000 in the microKorg?

Also, is the trinity any good? How does it compare to the sounds on a triton?

It's a good buy, it can get you places but it has it's limits towards some issues. Ima true skool vintage freak so I would be able to tell real analogue from PCM ( thats a personal issue ), if you're like me you would not be impresed since you refer it with the originals. But the filters Rock, presets are usable and reasonably tweakable, there are onboard fx and a 20 band vocoder for a criminal pricetag. I mean next best thing to the tag is DJX and i bought my uncle one, he's schizofrenic so doesn't really care. Considering all of you not schizo... yeah good choice lol!

I'm not familiar with MS2000, that also implies that somewhere it hadn't impressed me for some reason or I got tipped not to be bothered. If you can find the average price for it I can give you an alternative that I can guarantee is good cuz I am not shure about this ( not saying it's bad, but it's still hard to compare the Micro with MS2000 simply because of the difference in prices of both items. Micro is good and can't be bad for the money spend on it ).

For any of the trinities/tritons. my personal view of this is, I have various sequencers, I have masterboards and I have outboard fx. The sound of both are great but I do not intend to use any of the other great things supplied with the product. Just the sound, so my tip, just buy the rack version of either a trinity or triton and forget about spending money on all the blabla you wont need anyway. It also takes less space hehe.
