Here's one for you all to consider. I've been testing the full un-interupted version of Kratos for a couple of weeks now and I must say...I really like it!

Kratos Maximizer is a transparent, mastering grade look-ahead brickwall limiter and loudness maximizer. Put it on your master channel to give that loud, commercial quality release out of your mix without squashing effect and artifacts. Kratos Maximizer offers easy control over the loudness level via the main Maximize knob while can also go deeper for more demanding users, giving a control over Texture, Release, Knee, and Ceiling for greater loudness while retaining your mixes original color and dynamics.

The demo version inserts silence every 40secs but thats more than enough time to decide if you like it or not...imo it's well worth the purchase price ($69.95). The presets are awesome and require very little tweaking if any at all. Try this out.

Got my computer hands on it the other day....haven't used it on a song just yet but it sounds pretty good. I need to test it out a bit more.. I'm kind of stuck on Voxengo's elephant right now....

Yeah, I think you will like it. So far I'm really impressed with how well it increases volume without giving that 'overcompressed sound' and it's ease of use. This will crank your volume! Try it out and let me know how it compares with Voxengo's Elephant. Another good one is Brainworx's BX XL (it has a little more control).
