Midi Controller Question and MPC

I wuzn't sure about how the midi controllers and midi modules work in the mpc...I wuz thinkin I could get a drum track going on drum track 1. and in midi 2 I could record a bass. and in midi track 3 I i could record u know another sound and so on through the tracks. iz it possible for me to record all this into a song and as a wav through resample?
can the mpc 1000 record all of it as one wav?

also does the 4000 record it onboard so that u dont have to load em up on the module?
and also can the 4000 record or resample it as one wav?
basically I want to know how people put midi on there tracks and record them without a mixer...

So you want to record the output of your external sound modules back into the mpc all at one time and not as separte instruments?

Of course you can. Just resample and lauch the wav with the track.

that use to be my prefered way to do it, that way if u gotta go sumwhere wit yur mpc all yur sounds will be in there u dont need to lug yur big ass modules wit u . i didnt resample back in to the mpc tho, id solo each track on the module i wanted to sample into my mpc and record it in audition, from there id add sum more effects, save as a wav, then import it into my mpc and jsut trigger it. a good alternate method if u have sum software with effects ud prefer over the mpcs..

does the 4000 save the midi onboard...cuz i know thats the way id do it too..but i was wondering if there was an alternative...like a way I could put drum tracks on track one
then a keyboard on track 2 from the module and also maybe a bass from the module on track 3...then somehow save it all onboard and be able to shut all the units off...then jus go back to the mpc to hear it again...and not have to bother turning on the module...
