I have a MPC 1K...lol... and I just figured out that in order to use note repeat, you have to have note correction on... Maybe I'm the only one. I actually turned it off because I was playing over an unusual sample and then thought I managed to break the button... ah well... lol

mod plz close this thread. even delete it since no one uses the mpc.
you need to relax a lil' bit, people have jobs or go to school so you woun't get the answer to your question in 30 seconds. i use the 1k and so does dj hoppa. classic uses the 2kxl and so does several other people. they'll get to your question eventually, give 'em a minute or two.

tip: take a sample, set it to mono, then make it NOTE ON. now set the decay up to say, 90. go into the trim screen, and set the sample to loop on. when you hold down the pad, the sample plays, and loops. when you let go, it fades out. if its a short sample, it will repeat like its got decay on it.

Steel, you won't get a reply right away because nobody is on here 24/7. Give it a bit of time and someone will reply that's all. The other reason why you probably didn't get a response right away is because topics like this have been covered many times before, search around here first, you'll probably find some answers that way.
