MPD16 questions...

Ive been working with Fruity loops (hopefully reason...soon) and I'm considering getting a MPD16 controller.

Some questions, am I able load sounds and samples to each of the 16 pads? and if that is true then wouldnt that make the mpc obsolete?...

And If i do get a MPD16 how much will it enhance my software experiance?

I wouldn't say that you're able to 'load' sounds and samples to each of the 16 pads...but you're able to control the sounds and samples loaded on your pc from the 16 pads.

Some will say that a pc and mpd-16 makes the mpc obsolete, some won't. It's all a matter of preference and I know for a fact that we could argue about on this board for the next 6 months, so we won't
