hi. i am trying to use my keyboard in conjunction with my mpc, and cannot figure this out, even after reading the manuals multiple times. when i switch to a new track on the mp, and want to record a different voice of the keyboard, how do i get it to keep all the old tracks the same voice i recorded them on. whenever i swtich on the keyboard, it switches all the tracks to that voice... im a tad confused and befuddled. (yes i said befuddled.)

thanks

gotta make sure the keybard is in multimbral mode

So u can assgin a voice to each midi channel

So u would turn to MIDI on ur mpc channel

MIDI 1A device 1 on the MPC would be MIDI channel 1 on the keyboard( ex drums
MIDI 2A decive 2 on the MPC would be MIDI channel 2 on the keyboard(ex piano

etc etc...

Watch my video
Im using a motif rack and a controller but its the same princpal, notice how i have differnce sounds assinged to diffent midi tracks on the motif rack..
