Dope stuff. Nas made a huge point to me of the hood being in the studio with him and I'm sure that's changed since Illmatic and it seems like as rappers outgrow their hood so does their music...which causes the backlash from the hood. Also dope to hear him say how Primo out of all of the cats linked to Illmatic was his dude and how Tip wanted One Love to be kinda like Nas' summer vacation. And it was crazy hearing how Cypress was the first hip hop group to have to albums in the top 10 on Billboard at the same time. And I TOTALLY forgot these 3 (with Lauryn Hill) were all on Columbia and how Cypress and the Fugees both started on Ruffhouse/Coulumbia outta Philly...
