Question about mixtapes:

i read this somewhere but i'm not sure how true it is, but say i have a mixtape with some commerical beats on it and it's selling well, and along comes somebody trying to sue me can i just put an item or something with the cd cover and say i'm selling the cover and the cd is just a free gift for promo use only.

i dunno, i think you could get away with it, but you will need a lawyer who knows what hes tlking about,
