I didn't know where to put this cuz it's about 2 different programs

Does anyone know if Pro-Tools can read an Acid Pro Program file?
I am using acid on windows and pro tools on the mac and I know I would have to convert the files to aiff
I just didn't know if i had an acid file if the sequence of my loops would be read by the pro tools...if anybody can shed any light on this subject, I would appreciate it

If only you knew how much I wish this was possible.
Im sure you can rewire acid into Pro tools send each track to its own bus then rewire the busses individually into pro tools. You can with reason so I dont see why not, as for pro tools reading acid files, I dont think so. But I havent tried so that isnt 100%, but Id be pretty sure its not possible.

first, you don't have to turn anything into aiif when going to mac, wave files are fine, broadcast waves are even better

are you talking about acid project files or acidized files?

acid project files: no. the ssl pro convert, like 9 bills, would be able to i think. omf would be tricky as pt doesn't conform to the proper standard and it's dependent on the pt user having digi translator. maybe AATranslator

acidized loops/files: pt can import them like rex files
