Im in two minds about this track.
Id like to hear more bass, but then again this is just the sort of basic beat that lets a dope mc shine, when you aint concentrating on the beat you are listening what he has to say.
Sounds like one of my old throwaway beats, something Id never expect to do anything with.
If got shitloads of beats like this. But they just aint complicated enough for me to do anything more with.
I need to get my basic as hell beat game up.

Wow! Stress likes it, I think it's good for what it is. Haven't seen anybody say the beat was trash. But u did say it sounds like one of your "throw away beats". Maybe you should kick about 20 or 30 of 'em to Stress to see what he can do with them. No use "throwing" them away if someone can spit a hot sixteen to them.

hey you have a point tho, really simple ass beats are what get over, I end up overcomplicating them lots of times. Then I'll have an actual musician tell me the simple ones arent complicated enough, or too linear...
Im tying to get away from linear, but its hard what with rap itself being a 16-8 formula.
Beats I used to make never stayed by that formula , now Im stuck in it.. lol
I was going to type the same thing but I figured I wouldn't raise the dead...lmao...Skid has been real chill'd as of late. 2Good kills me with that line. I really want to hear those old beats that sound like this one and the one's he says Skids sound like. I really need to hear about 20 of them then I can die a happy man! lmao....
