Many out there have heard the term
Save for the rainy day,
and I bet there aren't many who knows (or cares) where the term comes from. But I'll like to share if anyones interested.
The term refers back to the age when construction was basically every mans career, and contruction workers only made money when the sun shine. So the term came about back then, that when you made money while the sun shine, you save for the rainy day when you cant work or make any money.
