Remember KDAY?

Does anybody who lived in Los Angeles during the 80's remember the AM radio station KDAY? I used to love that station. I didn't get a very strong signal where I lived, but that never stopped me from listening. I especially loved Uncle Jam's Army. Looking back, all of the classic rap tracks of our time were originally played on KDAY. I have a box in the garage with cassettes filled with KDAY recordings. One day I'll have to get them out and convert them to CD for old times sake.

My older cousins would listen to Kday before i was really into rap so i heard it,but wasnt really payin attention to it...when i did start listenin to rap on the Beat i remember Julio G always talkin bout tha good 'ole days when he was on Kday and how it was more fun back then
