what is the more natural way of creating a reverbed instrument?

changin the dry sound "itself" with an insert fx or leaving the dry as it is and adding a reverb through a send fx?

thanks in advance.

send fx ... IMO all effects should be routed through send auxes except compression and eq ... any verbs, delays, etc use the sends.. gives u more control and also u can use the same settings for multiple channels..

Yup.

It allows you to do so much more. Like you can EQ the dry signal run it through a reverb and EQ the wet. Creates a really nice effect if you do it right.
