I was just wondering if anyone had any experience with either of these products and could you give me some advice on whether or not I should purchase this or not. I use Fl 7 XXl as my DAW and i already have a Roland Edirol UA-4Fx as my interface, any thoughts would be most appreciated. Thanks in advance and be blessed.

As far as which one is better...in my opinion the M-Audio I/O is better because its so versitle, it has 8 motorized faders, firewire connectivity, compatible with Pro-Tools and a ton of other features. The only thing I like about the Roland M-16DX is that it has 16 channels and a little more user friendly.

One other thing...I dont use FL 7XXL as my DAW so I'm not sure if it supports Mackie Control, Logic Control or HUI protocol which is required by M-Audio. In general, I love Roland gear but the M-Audio I/O is the better of the two in my opinion.
